I found it, that trunks has the same top half as the GT Vegeta figure ..

I think they used or had plans to use his body for some other Gloved figure cause thats a cut finger glove ,and if you take a good look at the arms you can see it more like skin then jacket sleeves .. they did the same Money saver move with the new black suit Bardock & pink lip raditz ..
