  • nice win at laguna!!

digging the new front-end, but why the change?

  • It's a model year change on the body work for the RX-8.

  • Thanks so much: my friends and I are huge fans of speedsource racing, that is the reason we follow GA racing:last race was so wet,and the porsches were better in the wet. What do you think of the Pontiac weight reduction? I heard that Gt porsches are getting some help from GA too.

  • I forwarded your question to David Haskell and he responded:

"I think that Grand-Am is looking closely at the weight reduction it did a few races ago to see if it was justified. There are a lot of factors that go into this decision making. Grand-Am continually tests engines at there NASCAR tech center. They have also done wind tunnel testing of GT cars. Coming up with right combination is difficult, but Grand-AM is always looking at this."

  • This is nice, I wish we could see the #70onboard camera during the races

  • Well I got you some in-car on the 69 in episode 4 =)

I'll see you again at Mid Ohio!!

    Mikey

  • Thanks for getting back to me.I think GA should base their balancing on power to weight ratio, doing with tunnel testing on different car make would only only penalize more aerodynamic efficient cars and reward poorly designed cars. How did you guys cope with the RPM reduction in the RX8,and have you guys totally oercome that disadvantage.
