@leafbarrett well, ok but what's the symbol for it? what does it stand for... besides bad.
-
@VolkColopatrion It's the heavy head, aka the dud head that you don't want.

The stage names are the main thing I consider better about the US version. I'm not sure whether I consider the increased difficulty relative to the Japanese version a bug or a feature. Definitely wish the US version had kept the Japanese version's enemy sprites and dialogue.

"Like I keep saying, go make a sna- Oh hey, it's over!"
Hmph! Wanted my cheetoes...

what's that weird loking hed... the one with the symbols?

The bomb must explode when the face is exposed for the hit.
The japanese version takes 1 hit, the american takes 2.(JP bosses have 9 hit points, american have 17, with the execption of TFs,who has 34 hits in the JP version)

This game was great. Spinderella, Wooden Dresser, and Gatekeeper were my three favorite bosses. The cat definitely looks angrier in the American version.
-
There it is; my other favourite track in the game play during the second half of this boss fight.
-
I like the Paradise? boss theme.

Do you intend to do the secret boss fight at the end?
Treasure likes its cows. Pretty much every treasure game I've played has featured cows in it somewhere (and most of the ones on the Genesis/Mega Drive were cows you got to interact with like these ones here)

I remember the ones from Gunstar Heroes, but I can't think of any others. Can you give some examples? I'm interested now.

Also, the boss which is shown in the video is Yayoi and Izayoi, they are both different, Yayoi is the first half of the fight where you have to get Heather to throw the keys. Izayoi was the second half where you had to just hit her in the face. In America, it was the Gate Keeper and the Nasty Gatekeeper, they had the same boss pattern as Yayoi and Izayoi. Also, a little fun fact, if you couldn't tell, Yayoi resembles a female Japanese Kabuki dancer wearing a pink kimono.

Yeah, I'm surprised I forgot to mention Yayoi and Izayoi in the video, considering that they're so much different from the American version. She's a geisha, though, not a kabuki dancer.

The boss battles seem really long. I don't play many platformers anymore, but the health bars are pretty ridiculous.
