Our inspirational guest speaker Jules shared with us his experience as a trustee and his knowledge about implementing a strong governance strategy

About Jules
Jules Mason has a broad experience of being a trustee (current NCVO trustee and Board member for the Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners, as well as a former trustee: Association for Citizenship Teaching and the British Youth Council - BYC) and supporting boards (as Head of Governance Support for the British Red Cross and supporting young people's involvement in governance whilst at BYC and as a school governor (he was Chair from 2008-2011) at Fortismere in Muswell Hill, North London.

At the British Red Cross, Jules has introduced a programme of activities to enhance trustees' knowledge of their responsibilities and duties and broaden their perspective of governance as part of the organisation's commitment to strengthening the Board.
