Sky Is Crying Gear Demo

In this video I'm playing a KWS Signature Strat through a Samamp VAC 23 1x15 Combo amp, using a Creation Audio Labs MK.4.23 clean boost the entire way through and using a Boss GE-7 for additional boost during the solo.

How did you learn the notes for the SRV song's? By ear, tabs, music sheets or other? Your timing is excellent. The number one characteristic that 90% of the guitarist on youtube are missing. Also fineseand palying the notes precise(clean).

just wondering if you think the tone is much better using a clean boost, rather than turning up the gain on the amp. i noticed the gain on the amp was only half way, and it would seem if you turn the gain up 4 notches you could have the same sound and delete one pedal out of the chain. let me know your thoughts please.

I like to keep the tone of the amp only a bit overdriven, so that during quieter sequences, I can turn off all the pedals and get a cleaner tone.
