Here's a perfect example of why we settled on a boxer as a family dog. Pepper has been hoarding this bone for well over 95 minutes. She finally decideds it's time to eat the bone, pulls it out, and Darien promptly snatches it from her. After about 3 minutes of drool hitting the sheepskin i decide to rescue pepper and get her bone back. This is a dog we can leave well unattended with Darien, and aside from way to many licks, we know he'll be safe from her, no worries, at ALL.

  • Apparently our boxer used to very protective of me when I was a baby, they seem to know and feel so many emotions. This video just shows what great gentle temperaments they have. They can be so silly and fun yet they are just so in-tune with the families they live with. They really are like people (nice ones). I have never known a nasty one.

  • @RealEstateism When my 25 year old son was this baby's age, I had a HUGE English Sheepdog, Irish Wolfhound mix. My son learned how to walk by holding on to her,and he pulled himself up by pulling her hair. That dog adored him, and I am sure she would have given her life for him if she had to.

  • Great video! Boxers are very docile, especially around children. My female boxer loves my kids and actually protects them. Sleeps at their door every single night.

  • dogs like so whats this whole taking candy from a baby shit?

  • we always have had boxer..when my sis and I were babies, when we grew up and now even the kids of my sister all grow up with boxers...Boxers are indeed one of the breeds that best can be trusted with kids...enjoy it. How i miss my dogs :(

  • People who are calling this woman a bad mother are idiots. The chances of someone being killed by a dog is roughly 1 in 18 million. 5 times as many people get hit each year by lightening bolts. Twice as many kids die each year from accidents while riding their bikes WITH helmets. The majority of dog bites are accidental. They have nothing to do with aggression or unpredictable temperament. Far more kids are hurt by siblings or parents each year than by dogs. Pick up a book you irrational losers.

  • That really good dog :)

  • She trust that dog WAAAY to much. No way would I allow my dog to be that close to my baby, ..especially holding the dogs toy!
