i've searched tons of lists online for the greatest drummers of all time and this man is on none of them....

It's actually very important to understand the different subdivisions even in simple beats... like he splains here: it's halftime (1/2), it's quarter notes, it's triplets, it's sixteenths, it's 12/8...
Even if those subdivisions are not played, they are there between the notes, and in order to do variations, to be creative and TO GROOVE they gotta be controlled...
