i still like this game more than COD4, because unlike COD4 where you play in a nameless country fighting a nameless enemy with no real motif, in COD 2 you had one of the greatest real-life heroic tales ever told: WWII

The most epic level in the most epic WW2 FPS single player campaign of all time. Unfortunately CoD2's multiplayer wasn't as the original or to a greater extent United Offensive. However, as great as the campaigns for the original and it's expansion were, CoD2 is still king. The modern warfare CoDs aren't terrible but they just don't cut it. :(
