These are metal birds on the Ohio riverfront in Louisville Kentucky. They have plaques stating they were commishioned at different times between 2000 and 2001 by Greg Fisher and Mayor for life Jerry A. Marvin Finn is the artist born 1917 in Alabama. He moved to Louisville in 1940 and married Helen Breckinridge and they had 5 children. He made toys and junk sculptures. Carving in whatever his imagination lead him to do. I have seen his small pieces go for big dollars. There may be some people who have a scrap sculpture of his and may not realize they are worth big money. So do not throw away a funky bird carved out of scraps it could be worth more then you think. He sold his early work for $10 to$15, so you never know what you have in you attic.
