@HeleighnaDalney Riding in the State Of Florida, where this happened, riding a bicycle in a sidewalk is illegal .The law also allows bicyclist to take the whole lane (lane dominance) and requires drivers to steer clear 3 feet. In addition, where do you see the cyclist slowing down traffic when there is no traffic?

The cyclist ran a red light! I am a cyclist and that is wrong. I am not excusing the bus driver. She was very wrong as well.

Yea why is the bus driver trying to race the bike .and that lady is saying the guy purposely got hit .she's dum as the driver .who is she was she the driver or that drivers lawyer.get a life.

i am a bus driver from Scotland and as far as what i can see this bus driver is totally at fault.As a professional bus driver you are supposed to give at least 2metre space when overtaking a cyclist.Common sense... the cyclist has not got eyes behind his/her head.

I'm a bus driver from Scotland, obvious that the driver is at fault. Not sure why the cyclist tried to hug the kerb, would recommend all cyclists take as much room as they need to ensure their safety. Many cyclists here are suicidal causing us a lot of problems, but that cyclist did very little wrong and would be welcome in front of my bus. I would give them the room they needed and at least when they are in front of us we can see clearly what they are doing and act accordingly.
