中日版《牡丹亭》首演獲好評

　　女播:【導語】昨晚，中日兩國演員合演的昆曲《牡丹亭》在北京湖廣會館上演。昆曲和歌舞伎這兩大世界非物質文化遺產，在中日締結和平友好條約的第30個夏天，在北京古老的­戲台上演繹出新的經典。請看報道。

　　【正文】舞台上幽幽吟唱的佳人，就是由日本歌舞伎大師坂東玉三郎扮演的杜麗娘。扮相脫俗、氣質典雅，坂東先生塑造的杜麗娘多了幾分韻味，使《牡丹亭》這一經典劇目煥發出獨­特的美感。
　　【採訪】北京京劇院院長 王玉針：
　　【正文】坂東玉三郎生於日本歌舞伎世家，其祖父曾與梅蘭芳同台演出，這使得坂東玉三郎從小就對中國戲曲懷有一份特殊感情。1987年他專程來北京向梅葆玖學習京劇《貴妃醉­酒》的台步、甩袖等程式。為了解中國文化，他還專門攻讀了很多中國文化名著，並刻苦地學說了蘇州話。
　　昨晚的演出還吸引了眾多戲曲界人士，孫毓敏、梅葆玖等老藝術家都登台對他在北京的首演表示祝賀。梅葆玖先生，還表示要和他同台演出。

　　【正文】5月6號至15號的演出中，由坂東玉三郎和蘇州昆劇院演出的歌舞伎《楊貴妃》也將同時在湖廣會館上演。這也是日本歌舞伎誕生400年來首次使用非日語唱詞為演出伴­唱。北京台報道。

all tickets were sold out. I'm not sure how you define commercial success since the theater was very small and thus ticket revenue was low compared with shows in other modern theaters.

The movie you mentioned was Forever Enthralled, directed by Kaige Chen(also directed Farewell My Concubine). Released in Dec 08. A well done movie, but we all think Chen made a mistake by letting Leon Lai play adult Mei.
