Super Metroid - Stuck in Brinstar!

Super Metroid, SNES.

I am trying to clear the game with the least amount of Energy tanks, missiles expansions, etc., in an attempt to hit 15%. Oh wait, it seems we are receiving a transmission!

---Transmission begins---

"Here I am, Samus, minding my own business in Brinstar. The mission was going according to plan. Suddenly this player, "Raikoumaru", did something unexpected and, of course, retarded!
He made me get stuck in Brinstar! Oh just wait 'till I get a shot at him!"

O_O' So yeah, you'll see what I did to Samus in the video. Hope you enjoy it!

Samus got stuck because she didn't have enough Energy to keep going up with the Speed Booster. She went halfway until the low energy alarm kicked in. She is forced to stop and fall. As far as I'm concerned, there is no way to get out since you need to break those blocks up there with the Speed Booster ability. That's what I get for not picking up any Energy Tanks.

dude its very easy if u have the speedmboost

just go all the way left (dont open the door)then press and hold B now go roght and when u know u r in the middle of were u got in press down then jump.P.S. the bird is a guied

No, it's not as simple as that. I only have 99 energy and I automatically lose the Speed Boost when my Energy reaches 29. Watch the video response to see the proper method to get out of Dracora's Pit (where I got stuck).

he is not stuck all you have to do is run and charge jump

Your not stuck... go to the left and there is a door there.. Inside the door is an energy recharge :D

Uh,at the entrance to Norfair,theres a tall shaft,and i walljumped,only to see there was a block blocking my path on both sides,i dont have the Speedbooster,so i cant use the shinespark.help me..

theres a health recharge station in the room at the very left of the pit you're stuck in.

@jgraves1942 Btw, after you hold the spark, you're supposed to wall jump up a bit, press up so that you're falling normally, then hit A again to spark.

I'm just wondering how you got this far without getting at least 1 energy tank. Aren't there a few by now that you're required to get?
