Former senatorial candidate Randy Credico was beat up by police last night at Times Square in NYC. As Credico stood peacefully in the crowd a police officer grabbed him from the crowd and pulled him onto the ground. As he lay helpless several officers kicked and punched him. This could be retaliation from the day before when Credico led a crowd of protesters from Liberty Park to present Mayor Bloomberg, who was dining nearby, with a petition signed by 50,000 people. After his beating Credico was dragged away and was arrested and jailed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/33498942@N04/6247610409/sizes/l/in/photostream/
His arrest was captured by NY 1 (at 59 seconds into the piece) http://www.ny1.com/content/top_stories/149020/two-dozen-arrests-made-during--... . Follow Anthony Papa on Twitter : http://twitter.com/#!/AnthonyPapa
