BRANDI BURTON - In Loving Memory Of My Sister.

On March 28, 2001, my sister, Brandi Leigh Burton was born. On August 2, 2007, she cut 10' off of her hair and donated it to "Locks Of Love". Just four days later, she was diagnosed with cancer herself. [Rhabdomyosarcoma, which attacks soft muscle tissue.] She was treated with Chemotherapy for 42 weeks. The tumor was removed several months after starting Chemotherapy. She then, had to continue Chemotherapy to assure cancer cells to be gone. She then had radiation for 6 weeks. Brandi was in remission for 5 months, and she later had scans to reveal another tumor had returned. Brandi was then be treated on different Chemotherapy regimines until something was able to cure her. She went through four more different types of Chemotherapy. She was never in remission again. After a three year plus battle, On November 28, 2010, Brandi passed away at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN.
