The Special Senate Task Force on Fisheries Hearing Feb. 9 (Part 2)

The Special Rhode Island Senate Task Force on Fisheries continued its hearings to review the current status and trends of the Rhode Island fishing industry on February 9 at the State House.

The Task Force is chaired by Senator V. Susan Sosnowski (D-Dist. 37, New Shoreham, South Kingstown).

Those testifying at the hearing included Kenneth Ayers and Mark Gibson from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Paul Harden from the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, Christopher Joy from Seafreeze Ltd., Eric Reid from Deep Sea Fish of Rhode Island Inc., Dennis Ingram from the Rhode Island Lobstermen's Association and Kevin Adams from the National Seafood Marketing Coalition.
