  • so many misinformed people that are CLUELESS as to the saftey of these cars. I'll go to a drag strip and race ANY day, rather than deal with some TOTAL JERK in an SU effing V on Americas treacherous highways, there are millions of idiotic drivers out here today,NOT at the dragstrip !!! take THAT to the bank people !!!

  • excellant responce time! good to see training pay off.

Does the end of this track slope upwards to aid slowing down?

  • Scary to think your tires might blow out at 180 in the 1/4 wow glad he is okay and the response team was on it quick

  • yeah. it does go upward for about a good 1/8th mile.but most of the track is slightly downhill. i practically live out there when any racing is going on.

  • bad race car! He was just testing brand new tires from Toyo and the rubber was too thin to handle the pressure and it blew up. But im surprised it didnt blow up on the burnout, it wouldn't have been as bad...

  • the track should be longer..1650

  • man it sure does. that's wierd, same lane and everything.

  • most tracks slope upwards to help slow down.......that looked alot like hillary wills top fuel crash here too...

  • I think thats just where they decided to make it. Gateway Intl. Raceway by me doesn't have an ascending slope like that.

  • Yeah i will agree with you there, the perth motorplex crew are very fast to react. Although Kim was trapped under the bike for a long time. Brett stevens was one of the 1st before to help him.
