Lewis Carroll wrote two books about Alice. The first of those was 'Alices adventures in Wonderland', which takes place in, obviously, Wonderland. The second one, the book this movie is based on, takes place in Looking Glass Land.
I hope that clears matters up.

Kate is gorgeous in this :p. . . .

the white horse is Ian Holm right? Bilbo? xx

They shouldn't have cut the scene with the lion and the unicorn- especially as
it meant they just randomly had the plum cake dish there. I suppose they cut that out so they could fit the wasp scene in.

why is the red knight grabbing his crotch after falling from the horse when he fell on his bum?

I just finished the book this week, and found this. It's delightful -- a very faithful adaptation of the Carroll book (despite the missing fawn, lion & unicorn, sheep in the boat -- my favourite scene, though). Gorgeous colours and cinematography. (Red Knight is hot, too.). Thanks for uploading!

omg that Alice is so sexxxxxy
Huh? They don't have the scene with the Lion and the Unicorn. That's odd - because it's mentioned in the film a couple times. Maybe it was a deleted scene?

Yes, that's one of the biggest pieces of criticism this movie usually receives. They mention that they're going to see the Lion and the Unicorn, and then Alice just... wanders off.
