Die Monster! You don´t belong in this world! D:

-----

Final boss time! Since this is a different battle from Soma´s mode, I suppose a better explanation of his attacks better than the rest of my videos would be better.

For his first phase, he will only do two attacks, when he teleports (Btw, his laugh is hot o.o), if you are near him, he will use the Great Axe Armor soul, I prefer using Alucard in this phase since as soon as it starts falling you can use Teleport Slash to evade it AND deal damage to Soma, watch out for Gaibon, like the soul in the game, as soon as it opens his mouth he will tackle you, after he received enough damage, he will transform like the good old Castlevania games.

Now he takes his RoB/SoTN form, but his attacks are different, Julius is useful for this phase, for starters when he rises he shoots a lot of worms, while his Harpy shoots feathers, and when he lands he uses Aguni´s Soul, there are two ways to evade it, if you wish to evade it facing him, go under the first worm evading the rest by moving, except the last two whom you need to double-jump, the feathers can be evaded if you use this technique, then as soon as he shoots Aguni Press R for a boost jump (Assuming you are still in the air thanks to evading the last two worms), for the other way, stay near him facing as the same direction as him, as soon as it rises Back-Dash exactly twice, this will put you in a spot between Soma and the Harpy, his second attack is using Abaddon´s Soul, which can be evaded by taking distance and jumping when necessary, the problem is that you might get cornered because of evading his firs attacks, a way to do this simpler is taking the picture in the background as a reference point (Since it´s in somewhat the middle of the room), if Soma and you are more to the right/left side of the picture, as soon as it rises move to the other side, Holy Water is useful since like in older games he takes it´s whole damage, follow this and you should be able to beat him.

Good luck!

  • @SilimsLetsPlays So which one do I need to do to get Julius mode? I thought Dario Bossi was the boss that gave you the ability to go into the mirrors xD.

  • @xMrShinobi There are 3 endings to the game. One is the ending you get when beating Dario Bossi the second time without using Paranoia (a soul) to get into the mirror to kill the demon. One is the one I described. The third one is only obtained by wearing the charm at the exact part I referenced earlier.

  • @SilimsLetsPlays I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. I've beaten the boss that bring me to the credits. Is that the right boss or not? I haven't been wearing the amulet the whole game, so yeah.

  • @xMrShinobi Get to the part where the priest tries to trick Soma with a fake version of his girlfriend. Don't equip the charm that protects Soma from the treachery, and walk into the room. You get the evil ending and Julius Mode.

  • Man I had this game but sold it, now I kinda regret it...

  • How do I activate Julius mode? I've finished the game, but I can't see the option anywhere.

  • @6dhampyr6castle6 wow thx!!

  • @NoNameC68 yes maybe I should have put a spoiler alert but anyway. try to play lament of innocence it clears a lot of doubts in the saga.

  • @NoNameC68 Should note, I regret reading the wiki because I dislike spoilers.

  • @6dhampyr6castle6 I should really play Lament of Innocence. I sort of regret reading the wiki on Mathias, but I don't own a PS2 nor the game, so it may be a while before I play the game. In fact, I'm certain I never would have played the game anyway if I had not read the wiki.

Regardless, I figured it was Dracula before he became the evil count.
