Yes! Fred is the reason Puddle Of Mudd got famous! he supported them when no one knew them. And not only POD, but also Cold and Staind.

Kurt Cobain substitute? I think not. can't fault the guy for capitalizing on his death though. Song sounds good, but i feel like i am betraying my old tribal leader, ha.
