Karen is looking at Kelly like that because Ryan sent her an email asking her out. So Ryan was trying to cheat on Kelly with Karen even though she was dating Jim at that time.also Ryan mentioned the email to Ryan earlier in the episode Jim Knew about because he told Ryan he and Karen were laughing at it. Basically Ryan is cheating on Kelly. Both Kelly and Ryan are insane.
