inner city is still poor because of the lack of individuals with higher education.. youre really going to try to place blame on some well-to-do black people because theres still poverty in the communities? why do you think suburbs have better public schools? because they can afford to pay higher taxes because they went to college and get paid a higher salary

There is more reasons than that, there is a high unemployment rate in the black community: even black people with college degrees and their masters, PHDs, MBAs, etc. can't even find a job so that debunks your "lack of individuals w/higher education" theory. It's racism towards blacks by the gov't and the refusal of blacks(both poor and rich) to work together that is causing the black community to be in the condition that they're in.

And why won't the blacks w/"higher education" work together and unite with the rest of their people and work on the future of black children to get a descent education and a better living? So these so-called "successful blacks" is just as responsible for the failure of the black community as much as the poor blacks are for just sitting there and letting their own communities head into destruction and not doing a thing about it.

To answer your question about suburbs having better schools.............white people, being that they financially benefited from slavery, always had the money to afford to live in a nice and fancy neighborhood and pay high taxes for their kids to go to better schools and get a better education. As you could see, blacks who are still waiting for their 40 acres and a mule, didn't have that type of luxury.

i guess its hard to really have this argument because my view of successful black people is probably alot different than yours all my life i've been around black people with graduate degrees and high paying jobs

and just to point something out ive never seen any rich white person throwing money to trailer trash and helping out their situation

theres no right or wrong way of looking at this but i just cant understand how someone would think its my job to help them out because im doing well
