PS3 playing a Mini-DVD / 8cm DVD AVCHD

can u play a 8cm disk on the ps3 if ti's not a HD disk??? just liike a high quality disk out of a handycam??? or does it have to be a HD disk?

You can play Standard Definition disks as well.

Wow, I never knew. I've been curious whenever I've seen a 8cm DVD lying around at home but I never dared trying it. I'm a little afraid it will get stuck, is there any risk?

No risk as long as you load it in the middle.

I used a Sony HDR-UX7. But you can burn any AVCHD formatted DVD video on either a regular DVD or a mini-DVD and the PS3 will play it.

Works in ps3 slim. I have a 160 gb one and no problem.
