JROTC teaches kids how to become better citizens and patriotic Americans. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a military recruitment, though some cadets do progress into military service.
It teaches discipline, respect, courtesy, independence, integrity, and selflessness.
I'm trying to raise money to send these kids to Drill & Ceremony camp. Details can be found on my blog, A Soldier's Perspective (www.soldiersperspective.us)

Song name and artist please? Great video. Hope some of you joined up after high school to serve our great country. I visited NYC for the first time w/ my wife, this past June 2008. We stayed there at Ft. Hamilton's Lodging. Take care.
