'68 Seeley Norton at Mid Ohio, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, July 24, 2011

1968 Seeley Norton Commando in the GP750 Race, Sunday, July 24, 2011, Mid Ohio Sportscar Course.

I finally got a camera that works with the vibrations of my bike, but forgot to turn it on until I was in the keyhole, halfway through the first lap! I reached up and turned the camera on while heeled over heading down the back straight. For the first lap you can see the first and second place riders in front. They disappear, but I begin to reel in 2nd place towards the end. Unfortunately due to rains previous, they had to cut all the afternoon's races short and I didn't have enough time to catch up second, so settled for third. The bike was fast enough, but the rider needs to step up a bit more. Maybe next time.

At the end I am being interviewed by Cafe Racer TV for a feature they are doing on me building this Seeley Norton.
