  • whare was the mud lol?

  • @TCONA360 Most of the time that's the most mud you can find in Southern California ;-)

  • What tire is better for mud/sand.

The ITP XTR or the Carlisle ACT ?

  • They are very close. The XTR has larger, deeper lugs and weighs more than the ACT. I prefer the ACT due to its lighter weight.

  • @ATVTVCOM How much of a weight Difference ? which tire would last longer ?

  • @wvin2008 Have to check the specs on their websites for exact numbers, but the ATR is a bit heavier due to thicker carcass and deeper tread. It should also last longer. If you go that way I'd be sure to go with the 12" rather than the 14" as that weight increase is perhaps the straw that breaks the camel's back ;-)

  • Sandy river bottom.

  • If you can go through that in 2wd and barely have the tires spinning all that is a water hole with a sandy bottom

  • Or check out the Carlisle ACTs

  • im lookin for tires for my 2008 kingquad 400as would this be a good choice for a trail and mud tire
