Fur Fighter Village New Game Opening cutscene, Fur Fighters Viggos Revenge
---
Script as follows
Narrator (Viggo): Fur Fighter Village, It may not look much but it's the home to the greatest warriors in animal history. Chang, small in stature but great in the fields of both technology and martial arts. Juliette, chic and graceful on the outside but within lays the heart of a ferocious warrior. The mighty Gwyneth, a fierce dragon and mother of a new generation of fiery airborne defenders. Bungalow the kangaroo, a few shrimps short of a Bar-B, but an athletic and ferocious fighter nonetheless. Rico, the smooth talking joker and master of the water. Lastly, but by no means least. Roofus, the wise old warrior and leader of the FurFighters. How I loathe them all. Roofus, can you hear me my old friend? I've returned as I've vowed I would and soon the world will be mine. however, you shan't be interfering with my plans like last time. I'm not going to kill you, where would the fun be in that? No, I want you to witness my triumph and suffer as you're forced to stand helplessly by!
Chang: "Roofus, Roofus!"
Roofus: "Viggo! It was General Viggo!"
Chang: "No kidding. He left note."
Roofus: *Reading the note left behind by Viggo* "Greetings Fur Fighters. As you have discovered by now, I, Ggeneral Viggo, prospective ruler of the globe, merciless leader of the blah blah blah Destroyer of cities blah blah Have abducted your families! Make no attempt to interfere with my plans or the consequences for them will be dire. I mean it this time. Yours et cetera, General Viggo." *finishes reading the note* "Well to hell with that! We're gonna find our families and we're gonna teach that damn cat not to mess with us. Chang, Is the teleport device ready?"
Chang: "Is working but can only teleport one of us at a time."
Roofus: "Rico, fancy helping to turn the tide in this fight?"
Rico: "If ladies are in peril, it's our sworn duty."
Roofus: "Juliette, are ye with us lass?"
Juliette: "For now dog, for now."
Roofus: "Bungalow, any idea what's going on at all?"
Bungalow: "Not really mate."
Roofus: "Good to have you on board. You young tweek, your mother's gone so you're the only dragon left, You may be only a day old but you think you've got enough furfighter blood in ye to help us?"
Tweek: *nods* "Tweek!"
Roofus: "Good lad. Looks like we're all agreed. We've been here before and hoped we'd never be here again but ye don't always get what ye want do ye? Lock and load, my friends. It's time we put kitty out for the night!"

Fur Fighters is a video game developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Acclaim for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000, then later for the PC.
The game was designed very much as a standard third person shooter, but used a world populated by cute little animals as its setting. As a result, the game's depiction of violence is very cartoon-like without losing any of its intensity.
In 2001 an updated version for the PlayStation 2 was released as Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge.

  • It would be awesome if someone had the full soundtrack to the actual game, I have New Quack city and the Dreamcast version of HMS Viggolina, but I'd really like The General's Lair music =/

  • I believe the pc game contains the mp3 music to Fur Fighters. Aside from that, it's highly unlikely to find the clean soundtrack around the internet for this game which is truly a real shame.

  • lolz that game is kool

i mighta only played the DC demo

but i know this one is fun as well

so let me get this straight: viggo's revenge os a DC port of the game to ps2 with minor changes,no new levels or nothing, right?

and the DC to PC port is completely nothing new, cept' for what its bieng played on?

  • Fur Fighters Viggo's Revenge is basically a port of the DC version, new additions are character voices and voice acting for the many scenes throughout the game which means no more random grunts. Graphics are enhanced and sharper looking, (loving the cell shaded graphics)! I can't think of much else really that's all that different. PS2 controller works nicely for the game especially if you get used to the advanced settings, or like me, playing a beginner controller setup.

  • Personally, I vastly prefer the Dreamcast version. The graphics have much more life than the cel-shaded versions, and the random grunts were much better than the crappy voice-acting in the PS2 version. I liked it when Viggo sounded like John Malkovich!

  • That's your personal liking, I prefer the sweet silky smooth cel-shaded graphics of the Playstation 2 version of the game. I like voice acting regardless of what it may sound like to some people, it's not as bad as you make the voice-acting out to be. Anyway, I like the Fur Fighters: Viggos Revenge above it's original Dreamcast incarnation.

Well, if you know where to get a ROM/Emulator of Fur Fighters (preferably Viggo's Revenge), I'll try to rip the music from the game.
