Sorry but I couldn't disagree with you more. Mos has proven that he can sing, people get him do do hooks for them all the time, and he has so many of his own songs were he shows his ability to sing. Just look at when he was working with the Bush Babees, and heaps of his own tracks such as Habitat, Kalifornia, Lifetime, The Boogieman Song, Thieves in the Night (from Blackstar) etc... if your still not convinced, look up Creole by Charlie Hunter ft Mos Def.

Your a retard if you think its a load of horse shit. Mos Def is a good rapper no doubt, but this song is really fucking LAME!! This beat did come from him but Kendrick Lmar is a way better rapper and did a hell a lot better with it.
