GM To Begin Testing Chevrolet Volt Electric Car

The Volt can run up to 40 miles on its initial charge, and re-charges itself when in motion. The vehicle, initially introduced at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, uses GM's "E-Flex" architecture, running on electricity and an alternative power source.

Who has money to buy a ev, also has to solar panel.

Leaf is 99% recyclable, Batteries will be bought by Nissan after 10 years.

Next year will have autonomy of 200 miles.

Investment in solar panel is expensive but lasts forever.

@heartlessvietboy Actually there are a few companies including a test Nisssan that have done a 300 mile electric car before TeslaM (Tsero being one of them) still its a nice looking sports car, bit expensive but at least it looks like a nice car unlike the ugly G-Whizz although they say that thier new models look better

Tesla is a Great Company. They Built the First 300 Mile Electric Vehicle (Tesla Roadster and Tesla Model S). If I have money I'll buy me the Model S.  The Best Looking Electric Sedan in the World.

Hybrids and Electrics aren't just about saving money. It's about the Environment and Economy. They don't pollute as much. They also don't require too many parts to build and too much work to maintain. Electric cars will get less expensive so don't give up on this revolution.

Those electric cars haven't been proven. GM is a Brand Company and American Automobile Manufacturer. They are constrained on Build and Warranty. They Mass Produce cars for the public so reliability is a must. Garage Companies Like Tesla and Others are great companies However they only build simple electric cars and have yet to be sued. The Chevrolet Volt Offers Voltec Drive System with 5 year Warranty.
