One of the better explanations on fish finders but keep in mind that most youtube videos on fishfinders are glorified advertisements and don't actually teach you how to use them or what you're looking at. How about making another one that explains everything from how to turn it on and set it to what your looking at!

It would be great to see mode details on how you fish with it. How to read the screen and how to scan the river in particular. Is the fish finder useful while the boat is not in motion?

@vbludov Thanks for watching vbludov, yes, very useful when stopped. If one is traveling and the fish finder goes crazy with fish, stop the boat and drop archer. I have done this several time and what is happening is one has just found a feeding school of fish. There is no need to troll any further or watch the fish finder because the fish finder has done it job. : )
