Don't believe it! They will not always cut 1" diameter saplings. Good luck turning the mower on any kind of grade unless you are very strong. I would only find this thing practical if I owned a piece of property that was a mile long and ten feet wide. My dad was too cheap to buy a tractor. Don't make the same mistake. You don't see commercial landscape guys using these - it has two wheels in back and literally 2 skids in front. I've never posted a complaint before, but I hate my DR. Avoid!
These dr brush hogs are very impressive I live in st louis and have used them on houses that not been cut in years. All you have is put it in low and and walk it has no problem going through 6 foot grass with 2 inch trees all day long with out a sweat. And one more thing you can' see in the video is the deck follows the curve of the land because the deck moves on a pivet all the way around. very impressive.

DR MAKES 42'' LAWN DECK, 3 1/2 DI CHIPPER, 6000W GENERATOR, 42 SNOW BLADE , 30'' SNOW THROWER AS WELL AS A BLADES MOWING ATACHMENT FOR LOTS OF ROCKS.

I do that all the time with my old L-8 Gravely. Plus, they could be set up with attachments to plow a garden, plow or blow snow, grind stumps,...

the problem is the video shows green soft wood...what about hardwood saplings like swamp maple???
