  • whoever thought up that rig has too much time on their hands, way too much fucking around for a bait that doesn't even look natural when you're finished. Use livies, takes 30 seconds to rig and works better.

  • I THINK I NITTED A SWEATER DOING DAT...=)

  • All of you dick heads that say this rig is too much fucking around, don't know about offshore game fishing. A trolled live bait can not be used the same way as this bait.

  • I guess I should have said "pitch" bait instead of "toss" bait, that is what we call them on my boat.

  • I keep seeing all these comments about using live bait...first off for those of yall who don't know, the bait rigged in this video is for blue marlin. Live bait is dynomite for marlin under certain conditions, however those conditions are not as common as the ones you would used a rigged mackerel in, Plus rigged mackerel are the number one "toss" bait for baiting and switching with blue marlin. I am assuming these comments are made by folks who havent fished much for blue marlin.

  • thanks for a great way to rig spanish mackerel my friend im sure it catches fish too . looking foward to pulling this in my spread. were looking for a larger presantion in our all bally hoo mix mainly for sails and whites. some nice blues in my area cant wait to give them a shot .patience and prep catch fish these other guys here are full of it and probally never saw a billfish up close so sad its awesome

  • that looks like a victim from a saw movie

  • Im amazed how many people just jump to "use live bait." The actual "art" of rigging bait is dying because of that thinking. It takes WAY more skill to rig, troll and catch fish using dead baits. I feel bad for all of you who cant rig a bait.

  • @luckyscootboy jokes on you wise guy cause i do in fact catch a lot of fish

  • @bland158495 thats probbably why u dont catch nothing!

  • ...or you could put the hook through the head and throw it in the water

  • seriously a waste of time doing that. For mackerel, normally i'll use 4 hooks in line just to make sure the fish gets either one of the hook. normally will be 3 hooks hooked to the mouth and body when i reel them up.
