If Tibetans are free why do they do this?

jairosoft...you need to learn a little history amigo. At least the Chinese let them go to school. The "Holy" Lama kept them in chains, torture was common under the Lama. So Tibetans have it much better now. Try visiting the place.

These violent terror-bound monks give new meaning to the word religion. I'll never think Buddhists are peaceful anymore.

Forget that peaceful Buddhist meditation bull shit from now on. These are terrorists, not religious people.

This is not terrorism. This is protest. This is freedom of speech. When the police come in and beat them up for expressing themselves, that is terrorism. But I am sorry if you think that Buddists are not peaceful.

Without inner peace, there can be no outer peace. So perhaps you are right. The monks need to sit down to meditate more and not go outside to protest. But they are protesting for their lives, their way of life is being destroyed. Imagine what it would be like to have China take over your people, and force you to learn to speak chinese in schools.

Free Tibet? It would be better to free Iraq, that's really an occupied country suppressed by the United States and their vassals.
