Shu Swamp, Long Island, NY

A short video of Shu Swamp in Mill Neck, Long Island, NY, put to Native American flute music by Mark Thunderwolf. Shu Swamp is an amazingly serene place with forest paths and fresh water streams. It's one of my favorite places and I've been going there for over 25 years. I tried making the video with just the music, but decided to keep the sound of the running water of the stream as well, as it seemed to add to it. But because of this, there is an occasional noise from my holding the camera. So it's rough, but I hope it brings a little bit of peace to those who watch it. :)

I found this today - it is beautiful and captures the essence of what I remember as a kid growing up nearby and walking through here. They were just putting in the boardwalk when I left Locust Valley for college in 1974. This place has so much meaning for me, can't say thank you enough for creating and posting it.
