I am using my education. I currently attend graduate school for a physics PhD and one promising field which I may enter is better, cleaner, energy production. I apologize if my pragmatism about our current status in this field offends you.

its nice that you have a education. here is something to think about, quite complaining about byproducts from other people ideas and come up with a solution that works, your educated use the knowledge and come up with a solution that works or helps. first everything we do on this planet comes from this planet. we just change what is already there. here is a solutoin that works solar cells. what are the down sides to using those?

I did suggest a solution that works... nuclear power. The downside to solar cells (currently) is that they are extremely difficult to produce (in terms of resources) and notoriously inefficient. Solar power is promising no doubt, but not substantial enough to supply power to the entire world. Solar cells are also an immense land polluter, in addition to windmills.

Actually, 100% of the universe is radioactive... but still, radiation isn't okay. I appreciate there are people who don't know what it is, but it's a barefaced lie to say it's completely safe.

Your points on water vapour and fossil fuel fired power stations are completely narrow minded and undermine your audience. Like CO2, water vapour is a problem when it's in the wrong place, however you know full well that H2O gas can be managed far better than CO2.

I never, ever, said radiation is completely safe! Where are people getting this notion? What do you mean H20 vapor can be managed far better than C02? In fact, H20 leaves the atmosphere slower than CO2 and is a relatively non reactive substance. Please clarify. Also, what do you mean 100% of the universe is radioactive, much of the inert matter in the vacuum of space is H and H2, He, and other non radioactive gases.

First, learn to speak without acting like PARANOID and saying 'f*cking' all the time. Annoying man! Using Nuclear energy may be more efficient for the world, but not safe at all. Just consider the fact that if it goes wrong, it goes REALLY WRONG! Humans make mistakes and it seems that we don't learn much from them. Why not considering using Geothermal power? The world is just too greedy to consider green energy, cuz the big guys will not earn much from it. It's all about the money! :)

well...hydrogen is one of the most abudant elements on planet earth...because it comes from water and water is everywhere >_> and i don't under stand how something that turns into water vapor causes global warming...and also if you have hydrogen fuel cars you get better gas milage and not everybody is breathing in CO2 while breathing in water vapor isn't at all as dangerous humans. >_> damn republicans. ☮&♥
