It Stops Now...LIKE RIGHT NOW

This week we are again talking about bullying in the form of a the "It Stops Now...Right Now." project which was started by YouTube user Rosstor. What can another project do to really help teens and stop bullying? That depends on how you let it motivate YOU. We make it stop when we hold people accountable for making our schools safe for ALL students and more than gay kids experience severe bullying. Adults have a responsibility to take the needs of bullied kids seriously, it might mean the difference between life and death for someone. It begins with us.

@depfox Yes. bullying by definition must include physical intimidation. Calling someone a faggot isn't bullying. Also, If more gays would beat that ass when someone runs their mouth instead of whining about it it, you might get better results.

hey from New Zealand, I just stumbled across your videos and wanted to say you guys are such an inspiration and i believe so much in what your doing. I'm 16 years old and straight and believe as long as your a good person it doesn't matter what color skin or sexuality you are. At my school there is a 17 yr old boy who just came out and it breaks my heart that some people (only a few) are so mean to him just because he isnt the same as them. What you guys are doing is changing lives so thankyou x

Check out the KERMIT THE FROG U Tube video about how it's not easy B-ing GREEN!!! He actually had some of THE best advice I saw on this particular issue in a while. Some-1 prior 2 me indicated something about how parents were abdicating responsibility. GEE, ya THINK???!!! I've known quite a few people in public education, & it's almost PATHETIC how much c**pola the parents apparently "unload" on-2 their kids' teachers!!! Name 3 of your kids' teachers. Then name 3 supermodels or movie stars.

@depfox I SUPPOSE that is better than saying he WON'T live 2 regret it or tell the tale. But, GOOD GRIEF. I still think rather little of the way @ least 1 of U keeps responding, both actively in this channel, & then theoretically out "in real life," 2 people who R doing similar things. There IS a theory that this kind of thing can actually EMPOWER the bullies on a far subtler level, actually. I agree that there is a difference B-tween teasing & bullying, 2. Its ashame, that bullying is bad enough to when, teenagers, and adults are taking their own lives. No one should be bullied, but if you are being bullied, then, please talk to someone about it. So, you can find a resolution.

Why do people even call it "bullying"? In the real world, thats called harassment. People go jail for stuff like that in real life. So why don't they receive punishments in school?

I think half of these tormentors would stop ASAP if their parents pulled their heads out of their rears and did some verbal and/or physical whupass on their kids who need somebody to set them straight.

@alinkyng Kids if you start down the path of this pity-party horse shit, you are going to be one sad perma-victim just like Alink here. If someone fucks with you, WHATever the reason, stand up to them. Otherwise, get an education, and none of this liberal arts bullshit. A degree in the hard sciences or other tech fields will serve you well. Being productive and good at what you do will serve you far better in life than self indulgent tantrum throwing because someone doesn't like you.
