Fun with a 16Kv pole transformer (again)

It's been a while sinve I used the pole transformer on anything....so I hope you enjoy this video. First is a jacobs ladder then some snow melting on a piece of wood and a patato!

In electronics class we made the thing at the beginning with a boiler ignition transformer a couple of rods and a variable speed fan to blow the arc up the rods

But seriously the corona (ionized air) smell must have been nuts after all that.
