I love these guys - they demonstrate mistakes!
Carrying the skis over the shoulder - the toe binding should be behind the shoulder, and you pull down on the tips - that way you dont need to worry about clearance, because the skis stick up over your shoulder at such an angle that people behind you are not in any danger anyway.
Expert village? I hope their doctor knows what he/she is doing, because the resident ski experts are rubbish!
