  • What kind of yarn should you use for Amigurumi? Where do you buy it? Also do you need a certain size hook to make them??

  • @afsupachick You can make amigurumi with any yarn, just about. I like using acrylic because it's inexpensive, comes in all kinds of bright colours and is machine wash and dryable. I use worsted weight yarn, but you can use chunky or finer gauge like sport or DK, but the smaller the yarn is, the smaller your amigurumi will be. I also recommend always using a hook that is 1 or two sizes smaller than what's recommended on the yarn's label.

  • I just wanted to know, what angle is your camera at? Do you angle it downwards or just straight forward?

One more question- Do you use a pod and what type?

Sorry if this is bothersome... your video was extremely helpful, though!

  • @YiaNyan9 It's angled down and forward, from between me and my hands and though I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the term pod, I'm sure I don't use one.

  • @WireMySoul i think YiaNyan9 is asking if u use a tripod.

  • @MegMegcat10 Oh gosh, I hadn't thought of that word. LOL! Yes, I use a tripod in all my demo videos. Older vids use a small one resting on the table in front of me, and the AllFreeCrochet series is shot on a full sized one, though I haven't decided what works better yet.

  • hello im only only 12 but i love your videos and would love to see more soon. And could make a video on how to make an Amigurumi elaphant please?:)

  • Idk what it is but I keep pushing my crochet hook through the individual strands in the yarn. It makes things increasingly frustrating and difficult. Help please? Anybody?
