i have a couple questions. #1: would little dogs be able to play fly ball like tiny a shih tzu? #2: has a dog ever dropped a ball when he was running, and what would happen if he/she did?

Yes, any sized dog can play - I have a Chihuahua mix that plays - we just use smaller balls. Yes, dogs drop balls all the time, they also miss jumps occasionally, and other 'fouls'. When that happens the dog that made the foul can re-run to correct the foul. :)

questiona bout the small dogs thing too--the smaller dog use the same height of the jumps?

The smallest dog on the team actually determines the jump height for the rest of the dogs! The jumps range in size from the lowest at 7" to the highest at 14". To determing your jump height you measure the dog at the base of the neck/shoulders and then deduct 4 inches from that number and that's your jump height. So if your dog is 14" at the shoulder the team would jump 10". You always round down - so if your dog is 14.9" at the shoulder... you still jump 10".
