Sinulog Festival, Cebu, The Philippines

The Sinulog festival is held every January in Cebu, The Philippines, and it is the largest festival in the whole country. Millions of people gather from surrounding islands and cities to celebrate the childhood Jesus, to get drunk and party.

2009's Sinulog festival brought 3 million people; 2010's festival attracted 8 million people. That is almost 10% of the entire Filipino population and twice the population of the entire island of Cebu.

The video shows clips of some native beats and some customary things people do every year such as henna tattoos and just partying.
