Love this song. Miss the North East. left in 1974 been back several times. Good old
Newcastle, sure would love to hear me Grannie say again haway hinnie. Memories are what keep you going, they last a life time and when they are good memories your one of the luck one's, but always remember where every you go you'll always find a Georgie.... we're the best.

hi, i belong no where really , born in london , grew up in leicester great city, then i done 20yrs in oxfordshire jesus it was like being in prison, then i remarried and moved to yorkshire. but my gran,grt gran and grt grt gran came from newcastle upon tyne , so i am trying to find out about life there AT THAT TIME so great vids .
my grt grandad died at work in ARMSTRONGS 1899, AND MY FAMILY LIVED ON HERBERT STREET, BUCKINGHAM STREET, AND MY GRAN TALKED ALOT ABOUT SCOTSWOOD ROAD .

I have lived in Newcastle all my life (32 Years),,,and I know how much the area has improved over the last 20 years,,,But still,,,I thought the older pictures showed a nicer Newcastle,,,,Damm 70s architecture.....
