Spending $ by itself is not the problem. Spending $ on wasteful programs (like a trillion dollars to recruit terrorists - Bush/Cheney) was a problem, still is. In that regard, Reagan/Limbaugh mainstream conservatives are the worst. Waste is waste, big left and big right. Money to build things is not all waste. We stopped making things when Reagan came to town.

Hey, we have to let the phone company let the government spy on us without a warrant because we are all terrorists.
