Jeeze... I'd be there with the boys. I'd have done soooo many lesbian jokes... But that's because I have a lot of lesbian friends and they love hearing them and will give me new ones. A joke is a joke, and a joke by a guy (especially and Irish one) is going to be vulgar. Everyone knows that.

I'm mostly with Rosie. Yes, she was needlessly rude from the start, but that's not surprising given the flack women (especially nonconformist women) get their whole lives. And even tho I'm straight, tiny, and have a thing for Murphy--- I'd have stood up for Rosie when they told that joke. Now Rosie should have cooled down once they apologized; there was no need to hit Conner. But the anger itself was justified. Whether their intent was malicious or not, they were acting like schoolyard bullies.
