ste/brendan; love the way you lie

So sorry for using this song. I honestly never wanted to use it, but then this storyline came along. And obviously the song is perfect for it so that's my excuse. :p The video is pretty simple. Will continue to vid this storyline, though.

As for the storyline, what can I say? Definitely the best one on the show right now. I can't say I was a big Ste fan when he first started on the show but for the last year and a half or so they've really redeemed his character. I love him now. All the bad things he's done in the past won't ever be forgotten but he realized he made mistakes and got help. Then he became a father which I think is really what saved him. So, no matter what he did, in no way do I believe that he deserves what he's going through now. No one does. I'm not going to shout "karma" or "payback." Abuse is never okay. :(
Also, I'm not a Ste/Brendan shipper. I just find it too weird shipping an abusive relationship.

And when it comes to Ste's sexuality, I will admit that I was worried about them making him gay/bi because I didn't think it would work for the character but surprisingly enough, it's working. And honestly, it's not as hard to believe as it was when I first read the spoiler. I think they're handling it really well.

I have to admit, I was one of those Hollyoaks fans who didn't mind a bit of karmic payback for Ste, at least at first. The *idea* of it was satisfying, but that changed the moment Brendan hit him. That was just as disturbing as when Ste abused Amy, and I couldn't help but feel pity for Ste, regardless of his past.

@agata521 First of all "just hit him", is never okay. Secondly if you have seen the whole storyline you will see him manipulating ste, hitting him multiple times and threatening ste's friends to keep silent about being gay. He also put his ex boyfriend in hospital by beating the crap out of him. So that's the deal yo.
