i tell u what u can't beet the powerstroke the first one we bought was a 99 f250 with the 7.3l my dad hooked on to a 18,000lb combine and it towed it with no problem at 70mph with the cruise on cummins ain't nothing compared to powerstroke i know a guy who bought a 08 cummins and it don't even pull a load of hay very good 25mph up hill if he's lucky i know experiance that ford out powers chevy and dodge ford for life if ur gonna stroke it powerstoke it

I love hearing stories like that. Its not all about HP and Toque. Everyone says that the durashit and fummins have their hp and tq at a lower rpm which they do but that doesn't mean anything because everything relies on the frame and Ford has one hell of a frame. And everything is bolded, rivited, and double welded. I've never seen anything like it. Ford should rate their trucks to tow and haul more. They say an F250 can tow 12,500 pounds but it can tow a lot more than that. thanks for comment

2006 F350 dually axle on my work truck, pulled a bobcat, only way I knew it was on was when the trailer hit a bump, and thats a 11,000lb trailer, engine doesn't even know its on
