Think about how much the Gators wanted revenge for the previous year and georgia's dumb ass full team touchdown celebration. Lastly, Spikes truly was the heart and soul of the Gator defense.

To everyone who still brings up the eye gouging "incident" who the hell cares. Like some have already said, for all we know he could have let his emotions get the best of him. And let's not forget that the player it happened too even said that he felt that spikes shouldn't have gotten suspended.

yeah man, this is who i thought the Eagles should have drafted and we had a chance to go and get him. would have helped a lot. may have been the difference this year.

Spikes isn't the biggest or fastest LB out there, but he's got great instincts for being in the right place at the right time. Reminds me of Polamalu in that regard. Not saying he's as good as Polamalu yet, but you can't coach that kind of instinctive awareness. He's only going to get better.
