A very basic photomanipulation of one of my cosplays. This is a closeup of my Halloween Town Larxene (Kingdom Hearts). The costume (the little of it that you can see) is an original design by a friend.

There are a lot of things I could fix about this... and there are a lot of little things that bug me every time I see this. But overall I like the effect.

For the record... normally, when I cosplay Larxene, my hair is actually yellow. This time, however, I just wanted to do a photoshoot for a day and didn't want to re-bleach and re-dye my hair. Therefore, cheap hairspray was used. Where it was meant to be yellow, it turned my hair green. I am not actually quite that horrible of a cosplayer, and I have learned my lesson: I will never buy that stupid hairspray again.

Music:
Electric Mistress by Jamiroquai
Electric Avenue by Skindred

I do not own the music, the character, or the editing program, but I do own the photo itself and the costume concept belongs to halfdemondog.deviantart.com.

  • Haha, thanks... XD;

    Well it's done on Photoshop CS, but any basic Photoshop program will do pretty much everything I did here. I just used the brush tool, the select tool, and the heal tool, I think. And played with opacity. There are a lot of great tutorials out there that will walk you through Photoshop and do a lot better than I did here, haha.

  • Because... I've never heard of it?

  • Haha, cool

  • Wow! I'm gonna photoshop one of my pics right now!!

  • Thank you, and... because it's supposed to be yellow and I'm still iffy on hair. That's one of those things I wish I could fix.

    Do you have any suggestions to fix it?

  • good work, but why did you leave the hair so toonish?
