@decadyne Granted but that is considered the standard at the combine and no one has come close.
-
@decadyne Okay what does FAT stands for just curious?

The NFL's "timing" method is useless and people should complain about it. In it, the athlete can start when he wants -- he doesn't react to any external stimulus. I would love to have seen Maurice Green's NFL 40 combine time. He would have run under 4.
The NFL's attempts to quantify speed are inferior. The problems have already been worked out by FAT, but the NFL -- true to the hubris of ignorance -- wants to do it its own way.

Bo's 40 was hand timed. Even most accurate hand-timing is about .22 off. None of any of Bo's other 40s was near this time. I would say this chalks up to a timing anomaly and it is definitely *not* anything close to a "standard" for the combine.

@decadyne What about Bo Jackson's all time mark of 4.12 it is still the standard for all to shoot for at the combine.

i have never seen a man get so tensed up and run this "fast"
-
wow.... that is soooo fast!

@decadyne In fact it was the opposite the guy I mentioned in a previous post folks felt he ran even faster than his clocking of 4.25 Jerome Mathis I think some clocked him in a sub 4.2.

@decadyne Well I've heard ppl complain about electronic timing as well that's used at the combine.
