This is a guy I would have loved to spend just an hour with a week a day a month would have been better than winning the lottery a true Aussie bush man with a love of the country and a love and respect of its wildlife.

I dont think its fair to bag Jim Schembri I believe from the tape that he found the real Malcolm Douglas just as amazing as I do and think that he respected him as well so give the guy a break.

RIP to one of the best bushmen ever seen I'll be showing my grandkids and grate grandkids all his stuff (when I have them) just like I did with my kids. I for 1 will never forget him and his work for we grew up seeing his videos every weekend on world around us and his TV specials. No one had or has ever had anything like like that show even know they tryed he was and always will be the best bushman ever seen on TV as far as I'm concerned. And a dam good bush cook hahaha

@mattjamescurnow clearly you are an arsehole. You have to tak critisism on board and make yourself a better person. Clearly malcom had the right idea, his show was simple, not very well directed. It was by no way a master peice, so people who were not into that kind of thing (camping, fishing ect) would not be interest in the type of show.

I would with the highest respect like to say Rip to Malcolm, but I figure resting would not sit well with him, I can only imagine Malcolm has traveled to an amazing new phase of his never ending journey to explore, understand & educate all souls that connect to the rhythms of nature and its unpredictable power.

Respect for the worth of all wild creatures its habitats and the elements that make it all work. Thankyou beautiful person, a superb innings you rock dude
