  • there is an air sensor attatched to the air box what did you do with it when you changed filters

  • @goalsave1 the air sensor is just before where the box starts, at least in my car, so when you instal the cone air filter, the sensor is still in place.

  • hello i have almera n16 1500cc and i would like to install k&n filter on it does it makes difrence using it?

  • It sure does, but mostly in sound. The sound will increase and have a deeper, low tone. In horsepower its really not that big of a difference. But I did managed to lower 1 sec on the 0-100km.... it used to do it at 10.5 now at 9sec aprox

  • i have a nissan almera 03 , tried to put a rip speed air filter on it and it set the yellow engine managment light on the dash , it cost £30 get it reset , also the revs were a bit out someone told me might need engine remapped ? is that true did you just do a straight chqange ? where the airflow sensor is you must of cut of the end plastic bit for the filter to fit am i right ?

  • @lasamba has your car got a outside air temp or not

  • and mine was a 2009 nissan almera with a 1.6 engine

  • i,d took that of on my almera and put the aire intake i.d created a hole for the sensor

  • Why would you want to fit something with a surface area 13 times LESS than the proper paper air filter? Yours has holes 13+ times bigger, so allows dirt in to the engine to cause damage - never ever use it near a turbo or you get pitting. Yours will degrade performance faster. Best advice is to NOT confuse noise with power, learn about filtration and gasflow and see why using anything other than the oversized paper air filter is a really bad idea. You will just cause lots of damage, google it.

  • i have 1.8 almera and i mount biger automax air filter and change the exhaust and now 8sec to 100km/h

  • I took mine off after a couple of weeks because it get to noisy inside the car at higher revs. couldn't hear my self think.

  • luftpumpe....

  • its probs an idea to get the car re-mapped after any performance mod. this will increase your power and also stop your engine running lean as you pumping more air into it than your software deals with.

  • yo dude i have a nissan almera 2000 1.8 sport, i'm going to get an KandN air filter but i'm not sure what to do with the sensor before the box its self, There is two of them one after the box and one before.... can you email me if you have any idea wesnorman@hotmail.co.uk cheers
